Terms of Service
Last updated 2 September 2026. By using this site you accept these terms. The important one is that our refill intervals are computed estimates, not guarantees.
The short answer
1. Acceptance
By accessing wiltandwater.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms are between you and Slate Mill Group, which operates Wilt & Water.
2. What our content is
Informational and editorial. We compile published product specifications, cite horticultural guidance from university extension services and the RHS, and compute refill intervals from those published inputs using the method set out on the methodology page.
We do not test the products we write about, and we say so on every page. Nothing here is a test result, a laboratory finding or a professional horticultural opinion.
3. No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no warranty that the content is accurate, complete, current, or fit for any particular purpose. Manufacturers change specifications, retailers change prices and availability, and published horticultural guidance is revised. We correct what we find and log it on the editorial policy page, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is current at the moment you read it.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slate Mill Group is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or your reliance on its content. That expressly includes damage to plants, property or purchased goods. You are responsible for decisions you make about your own plants and purchases.
5. Affiliate relationships
This site earns commission from qualifying purchases made through its links. We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. The full disclosure is here, including the specific ways commission is kept out of editorial decisions.
We are not a retailer. We do not sell products, take payment, hold stock, or handle orders, returns, warranties or shipping. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the retailer, on their terms.
6. Third-party links
We link to manufacturers, retailers and publications we cite. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site.
7. Intellectual property
The text, layout, calculations and original tables on this site are our copyright. You are welcome to quote a reasonable extract with attribution and a link. You may not reproduce substantial portions, republish the tables wholesale, or use this content to train a commercial model that reproduces it verbatim.
Product names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used descriptively. Photography is licensed stock or supplied by the retailer’s product data. Manufacturer specifications quoted here remain the property of the manufacturers and are attributed on each product card.
8. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other readers, or submit automated or abusive content through the contact form. We rate-limit submissions and block automation.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Slate Mill Group is organized, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
